The Manatee County Transit Authority (MCAT) began a program to improve their image and facilities with the goal of increasing the transit system’s utilization throughout the county. One of the first steps was to update the branding of MCAT and determine the best methods to fabricate and install this initial brand identity signage at their new bus terminals in Bradenton, and Palmetto, FL. During the design and development stage MCAT leadership sought the advice and expertise of Gulf Coast Signs of Sarasota, Inc., to develop a reverse channel letter concept and specifications that are now the standard for branding at all future operations facilities.
